worry !
With our cool themes, clip art, text and image enhancing
features, you’ll probably get recognized as the Michelangelo of
presentations...
Let’s get started!
Now there are two ways to use Zoho Show. You can
-
Create a brand new presentation that’s entirely your own.
-
Import an existing presentation and work on it.
How to Create a Presentation
1. Log in to Zoho Show
-
Click on
button on the home page or the banner that says ‘Create a stunning presentation’.

-
Enter
the name of your presentation. (This is not your title! It’s more like
a file name.)
You can also write a brief description and insert some
tags, if you wish.
-
Browse
through the various categories to find a theme that best suits your
presentation.
Choose one and click on Start or double click the
respective thumbnail.

-
The first slide appears. Enter the title (and sub-title, if you have one).
-
To create the next slide, click on New Slide button. Select the kind of slide you would like and click on Create Slide button. If you click on the Create Slide button without making a choice, by default, a blank slide is created.

-
Zoho Show automatically saves your work, every few seconds. If you wish to save a version for future use, click on the Save button.

-
A typical working screen looks like this:
-
A panel on the left shows the slides created by you.
-
Right click on any of the slides to duplicate or delete it. Alternatively, you can also right click on the current slide and use the same options from the pop-up menu.
- If you’d like to re-arrange the order of slides, just drag-and-drop it to insert it into the right position.
-
The panel on the right includes the following features:
- Objects and clip art images
-
Click on the relevant category. For clip art images, use the drop down menu.
-
Browse through the rich gallery and pick out a relevant image.
-
Drag and drop the object or clip art image onto the slide.
-
- Change Themes
-
Use the drop down menu to view all categories.
-
Click on a theme that makes suits your presentation and your creative spirit.
-
Your new choice is replicated on all the slides, just like that!
-
- Version Details:
View and manage versions of your presentations. This important feature
allows you to go back, in fact, all the way back to the original
presentation and allows you to work on that version. This feature is
extremely useful for public presentations especially those that can be
edited by others.
-
- Tags:
Tags can make you famous! They allow you to find and be found. They
also act like single line folders. If you’ve created a presentation on
global warming, it helps to enter several words related to the
environment. So when another nature buff’s looking for similar
presentations, yours will show up too! If you can’t think of many tags
right away, you can always come back to add them.
You can also click on a tag to search for other presentations that feature it specifically as well as delete it.
Zoho Show also has a nifty feature called the Tag Cloud, which essentially portrays
a sort of visual ranking of all your tags. The tags that are searched
more often are shown in a larger font size. So a quick look will tell
you if you need to add or edit your tags to make your presentation
feature on more and relevant searches.
-
- Presentation Details: View details like the name, date of creation, modification details, privacy status, etc. of your presentation.
-
A text panel at the bottom of the current slide allows you to enter notes for the respective slide.
And guess what? You’re on your way to creating a presentation using Zoho Show.
